Hotel 54 Barceloneta is located in the popular neighborhood of Barceloneta, one of the most pleasant and well known in the center of Barcelona.
Opened in 2007, this modern design hotel occupies the old building of the fishermen’s guild in front of the Port Vell, just a few steps from the Barceloneta beach and emblematic places such as Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter.

I only spent one night, but my experience was very satisfactory. I can't comment on the food because I didn't get to eat, but the location of the hotel is excellent. Both the room (comfort, cleanliness, brightness, furniture, space, etc.), which was perfect for me, and the treatment of the staff, which was unbeatable (attention, problem solving, recommendations, kindness, facilities, etc.), made the stay a very good experience. It is not one of the cheapest but the location is excellent, and the rooms are beautiful, clean, minimalist and modern, with safe and views of the Passeig Joan Borbo.
Very close to Barceloneta beach, Port Vell, Maremagnum shopping center and the most emblematic neighborhoods of Barcelona (the Born and the Gothic). Well connected with bus lines (the bus stop is in front of the hotel).
